War Of The Ring: The Card Game is a great way of playing out the tales of The Lord Of The Rings featuring gorgeous artwork, simple but innovative mechanics and the chance for some folks at the table to play as the forces of Evil under the control of Sauron and Saruman. There has already been some great content added into the mix for War Of The Ring: The Card Game in terms of different modes of play (focused on the different books of The Lord Of The Rings) but a lot of folks have been asking for a solo or cooperative version of the game.

Well, Ian Brody has answered the call and seen the beacons lit on the horizon. Against The Shadow uses a simple flowchart in order to let you play as the forces of the Free People as you take on the Shadow played by an in-built AI.
