Head Out On Covert Ops With ClearHorizon’s 15mm HADES Team

ClearHorizon Miniatures have put together another 15mm scale Sci-Fi kit that would work nicely in the world of Gruntz and their own SpecOps Rules Module. Check out the operatives of HADES Team...

The team are a multi-part metal kit and represent a special operatives team that you'd send behind enemy lines to take out supply lines, assassinate certain individuals and do recon on enemy positions. Effectively these are a perfect fit for the SpecOps Module I mentioned above and could then be translated over into a bigger army if needs be when playing Gruntz.

I think these chaps look quite neat and they don't appear too squat either which is nice. I particularly like the 'heavy' with his machine gun ready to hold off the enemy as the rest of the team retreats back to their LZ.

Damn you 15mm. I’m stuck in 28mm and it’s too late to change now.

You get a whole squad of nine, with a command figure, SAW gunner and sniper for $8.99. And not only that, but you get three heads for each operative and an optional backpack 🙂

15mm game boards are easily 2′ x 2′, and scenery can easily be reused from other scales (for hills and stuff) or made from stuff around the house (like electrical boxes for a couple bucks from the hardware store)

It’s never been a better time to try out 15mm!

Now you’re just rubbing it in 🙂 . In hindsight, I should have gone with 15mm. But I’ve got a lot of 28mm terrain from other genres that can do double duty, so went with that. Very nice mini’s, though. Don’t get me wrong.
