Mierce Miniatures Take Darklands Into The Metal Age

Mierce Miniatures are taking their world of Darklands into a new realm, the realm of metal. No, I don't mean the music - I mean the material! This new Kickstarter Campaign is their effort to turn a bunch of their miniatures into metal saving you a lot of money when compared to their existing resin range.
A Metal Age
You can see some of the metal miniatures here below alongside some of the resin pieces too. The detail looks like it has been retained through the process, you can see it in the one which they have inked black. This is certainly a good turn up for the books for folks who couldn't get into the world of Darklands because of the cost.
It's also nice to see the model above measured against some of the others out there. They stand a good head and shoulders above them and it provides folks with a nice reference.
New Starter Warbands
You can see the different sets that you can pick up. You get a whole host of different infantry models alongside a bunch of monsters and heroes too. I can see people really getting interested in Darklands now things are looking to go metal.
Which of the above factions would you like to go for if you were backing this project? As much as I'd like to pick up the Norse I don't really like their Trolls so I would have to go for the Angelcynn.

Love this range. A move to metal should make the units cheaper to pick up at least 🙂
Those look really good.
Hard to believe metal is cheaper again these days. But I’m all for it… just when I was getting used to plastic! Doesn’t look like they will need conversion work, so that’s also a plus. Metal is a bit more fussy in that regard.
