Hawk Wargames Show Off The Sprues For UCM Dropfleet

Hawk Wargames have published some pictures showing off two more sprues of their upcoming UCM Dropfleet Commander miniatures.
Cruiser Sprues
In the first sprue we find one of the UCM's mighty cruisers.
The cruisers form the muscle of the game and can be assembled into a number of different types like the Berlin and the Moscow which you see below.
It appears to be one ship for every sprue, along with its various options, so this gives us an idea of how big these miniatures can be.
Frigate Sprues
The second sprue gives us the option of building some frigates for our fleet.
Much smaller than their carrier counterparts, Hawk Wargames have fitted four frigates onto the sprue, along with various options for how you might choose to field them as the likes of the Jakarta and the Taipei...
These kits are very versatile and showcase the superb level of detail that Hawk Wargames has become synonymous with.
Of course, this isn't all we have to get excited for as Hawk have announced that Dropzone Commander Reconquest: Phase 2 is set for a release in the very near future. Given the great additions to the game that Phase 1 brought with it, I cannot wait to see what they have planned for the new one.

UCM caught my eye instantly which is not to say I dont like the others. I am super excited for this.
Getting really excited by this… Cannot waitfor my admiral pledge:-)

I am really hoping to get eyes-on with the game at the UK Games Expo.

I couldn’t choose when the kickstarter was running and I probably won’t be able to once I’ve got all of them.
All of them have something interesting in both design and tactics.

Not long now. Soon be putting the proxy models away that I’ve been using for the PHR as I’ll be getting the real toys. 🙂
