I was put onto this one by dags from the forums! Wizards of the Coast have put out a selection of tales about The Legend of Drizzt from the world of Dungeons & Dragons read by a whole bunch of celebrities!

Was always quite pleased that I managed to kill Drizzt in Baldur’s Gate. His twin swords were a mighty fine prize.
I’m not normally that much of an electronic cripple but I failed miserably to get these downloaded yesterday – stupidly difficult to get a simple mp3 download which has put me off using Audible
Forgot to say that installing the POS audible download manager completely screwed up Google Chrome forcing a profile deletion to get the program to open cleanly – angry? Oh yes ….
Somehow managed to do it without pulling my hair out first
but only just
Luckily I rolled a 12 which was boosted by my Keyboard of Surprising Good Fortune which was enough to download all the crap needed

Audible’s user experience has deteriorated a lot in recent years. What used to be dead simple has become incredibly complicated. I think it’s because they revamped the system so that the kindle books you read are synchronized with the audio books you listen to—so you can listen in the car and pick up where you left off at home with the book and vice versa. Ever since they did that, it’s easier to use audible on a kindle device, but damned hard to use it any other way.
Love Audible, download at least 1 “free” book a month using my credit, nice that they they have a true freebie that is worth downloading and it has some great names reading too.
