The world of DUST, plagued as it is right now by arguments between companies, might be heading to the silver screen for an adaptation of the Weird World War game. Both the rights to the graphic novel and tabletop game have been picked up...

DUST

It will be interesting to see what they do with the property. Another tabletop game that made its way to the big screen was Mutant Chronicles and that really wasn't very good so we have to hope that DUST has that spark and World War II background to make for a cool experience on screen.

Future As A Telltale Game?

The company behind the film, Lionsgate, have recently also been giving out their properties to the people behind the story based games Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones and Tales of the Borderlands, Telltale Games.

With that in mind could we be seeing a game from them where you play characters embroiled in the wars of DUST? They've proven that they can make games with lots of fighting in them (Game of Thrones and Tales of the Borderlands) so it's not such a far fetched idea!

What do you think of the news?
