Dwarf King’s Hold Sells Out!

We'll guys... it's official... following on from our coverage of Dwarf King's Hold: Green Menace, the special edition bundle of this stonking boardgame has sold out on it's first day of release!
Not only that, but ALL copies of the first boxed set (DKH: Dead Rising), relaunched to coincide with the new release has also sold out!
Mantic Games have declared they will be getting some new stock in 2-3 weeks. However, for those of you that bought the first printing, we'll done guys. It shows that the not only is DKH a great game, but that tabletop gaming is battling back against recession and with your help we can beat it!
There are still a few copies of DKH: Green Menace left, but they're flying ff the shelves... so you better be quick!

http://www.manticgames.com still has the 2 game bundle deal available to order, though it won’t be back in print for 2-3 weeks. Of course, there’s no way of telling how long the next printing will sit on the shelves for 🙂
Really pleased to hear that they have both sold out because the first one was a good solid fun game with a great deal of tactical depth and no doubt the second one will be no different. I just hope this news doesn’t affect my pre-ordered copy with the Maelstrom as I hope having on pre-order for months now would count for something!!!
They usually do things on a first-come-first-served basis, so I’d expect your packet is in the post, but you could always ask. Never fear, the DKH gaming goodness will get to you soon enough 🙂
Yeah I ordered it through the Maelstom though not Mantic as I put a large order through them and decided to tag it on at the end as I was enjoying DKH:DR so much. I’ll phone them and ask how many they’re getting in and if my order will be included in their initial batch!!!
Oh well, that’s different. If you were just ordering the Green Menace then you should be alright. They’ve got a few of those left. It is, after all, only the day after release 😛

Good, good. I’m eager to see how the Orcs and Elves mix things up a bit. I’ve seen the Or Mantic models as I’ve ordered one of the Orc army deals (still waiting for the second half of my order to turn up… grrrr!!!) but not actually seen the Elves properly. I love their Orcs still not sold on the Elves but I’d like to get them in my hand to judge properly.

It is good to see games like DKH selling well, although by the time the next boxes are released we could be back in a full on recession again…happy times 🙂
