Blogging At This Event:
AOS and Bases - It's such an important detail, so lets sort it out before we build anything!
OK game-play aside there is an aesthetic issue with Age of Sigmar that needs to be resolved, Warren and Lloyd pitch some ideas and really really want your feed back on this one... so please post your ideas inside this update!

Chaos have a huge range of options to call upon stretching back 30 years. Obviously some of the big daemons are a good bet for terrifying your opponent, but what other units do you think you might resurrect?

Age of Sigmar Starter Set Project Introduction & Unboxing
The Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Starter Set has arrived in the studio and we've decided to record our progress of getting its contents ready for battle in a brand new project log.
First off Warren and Lloyd go though the box to discover what you'll get inside. They also discuss what paint schemes to apply to the two armies. We want to know what you think.

Nice start. Can’t wait to see the paint jobs on the miniatures. I need to get my starter box for this. That said, I do have a small Nurgle force i’m working on. Need to post pics of them on the forums.
Thank God…I thought I was the only one *this* anal about bases..
I was going to try the clear acrylic ones for Bolt Action and ordered a variety of sizes but in the end struggled to convince myself a prone MG team would look good without any scenery.
Plus they might be clear but they are also very shiny and reflect light..not good on camera.
Renedra does matt clear-ish 25mm round bases but they make the model look as if it was standing in a puddle of goo..or worse.
Bite the bullet and stick with GW. Ask for donations and replace them as and when.
Really great VLOG, stick with the colours you have chosen although I have now been instructed they should be Turquoise and Red the boss has spoken. It’s a case of if I want your opinion Ill give it to you, only kidding LOL.
GW have released a bunch of new base packs. Compared to a lot of their stuff I didn’t think it that expensive. But then I’m not sure what the average round base from another provider is worth either
I think with bases it’s more height than slopes on the sides thats the issues for me. I know corvus belli do 55m round blank bases at £3 for 5 rrp…they brought them out a while back when the TAG base sizes where changed. Otherwise warlord games have started doing lipped round bases and there older ones but they sit alot lower than the games workshop ones. Privateer press also do lipped bases different profile again thou. The closest match I’ve found to the GW bases profile are the standard corvus belli infinity bases. Other than that you’ll be looking at base packs from GW….cant remember how much they cost now..
Great start looking forward to progress in vlogs. We all sacrifice for this hobby, but the blood god can get his red from paint you know.
you can get 32mm round plastic bases from GW. 10 bases for £3 which i don’t think is a bad price
Warren, it is okay to be a bit obsessed about how your miniatures are based. A huge part of the game experience is having a set of miniatures that look great together as an army. I am a bit the same as you. I find it hard to play with a mixture of miniatures that I painted over the years that do not have the same base decoration.
Hi Warren! Do you plan to continue with this project? I understand that you may have discarded it if there wasn’t enough traction / interest with the first videos…. but just wondering 🙂
@sanhorfra At this stage I’m just not sure mate. Not ruling it out but it definitely floated down the priority list a bit.
We still have everything in its current state to pick it up, but I have roughly put together a couple of armies for us to experiment with a few battles first and then reassess whether this content would be a cool thing to flesh it out 🙂
