Gen Con 2017 Live Blog: Day One!

We're here now at Gen Con 2017 and we're delving into the chaos and fun here at the event. Stand by for plenty of videos and more!

We got to watch as the crowds entered the massive Vendor Hall here at Gen Con.

Thankfully it wasn't too bad and I didn't get run over but watch out later for some prizes you could win!

We had to grab some snaps of how the crowds were as they popped into the vendor hall for the first time.

The line around the FFG booth was utterly insane as they all queued for Legend Of The Five Rings and other goodness from them.

We were able to go a CMON PR Event yesterday in a nice bar to try out some of their games.

Here's a quick run down of what we looked at including Richard The Third which is a great semi-cooperative game set during the Crusades.

We also have Way Of The Panda which is a wonderful Euro Game, and also some sneak peeks at what lies ahead for CMON in the coming months.

Oh, and yes we did see Zee and Eric from The Dice Tower at the event too!

We got to sit down with Monolith and discuss the new Batman Board Game which is coming to Kickstarter next year.

The game not only features some great looking models but also an upgrade on the systems you'll be familiar with from Conan.

We're excited to see how the new Overlord Vs Overlord (or Overvillain?) stuff comes together in the new game.

We stopped in with Everything Epic Games who are the minds behind Big Trouble In Little China: The Board Game as well as a new Rambo game too!

Got to catch up with the always stunning, Marie Claude, in amazing cosplay at the Ninja Division stand. We even got a chance to peek in the cases at the lovely painted minis- including the adorable Rail Raiders!

After chatting with Chris, we had to take a few pics of the characters for Big Trouble In Little China as well as an early peek at Rambo! These are proxy minis***

Abbots Hollow has the fantastic leather goods you need for your collection. The monster books are just amazing and will undoubtedly look epic on your shelves or on the table during your RPG.

Justin stopped in with Jamie as you'll see in a later video to cover the new Guild Ball releases and what they have to show off for Dark Souls.

We stopped in with Ninja Division as you've seen in the gallery earlier and we got chatting about the games they have in their library right now and also what we might be able to look forward to as well down the pipeline.
