How Would You Paint The Thala Siren From Episode VIII?
The secret 3D printing job that Justin undertook last night has born fruit – milky green fruit!
The Thala Siren from Episode VIII is something that Warren has been quite keen to get his hands on. And if we can get him to stick to the one project we might just see it completed this weekend. For now the plan is to give it a zenith spray and plan from there. This is a model very kindly made by John Haywood of Hayland Terrain.
Assembling Some Knights of Dice Terrain
Justin has taken it upon himself this weekend to assemble some mighty fine terrain.
Knights & Dice have sent terrain all the way over from Australia and Justin is sitting down to put it together. there is a hanger bay reminiscent of the one which held the Millennium Falcon in episode IV and a couple of other buildings that would fit right in to the Star Wars universe.
3D Printing The Mandalorian!
Josh has brought along with him a very fine bounty indeed: the Mandalorian!
Cooked up in the foundries of the Imperial Terrain Commission and Skullforge Studios, Justin shows Josh how you go about using a Resin Printer. From start to finish Josh is shown through the process and why it might be more advantageous to use a resin printer than an FDM one for models.
War Has Finally Broken Out On Endor!
Those furry, forest brats couldn’t conceal their ill deeds any longer! The empire has descended to restore balance to the force on the forest moon of Endor.
Gerry has been introducing a couple of keen players to the rules of Star Wars: Legion and they’re starting to get their first game on the tabletop. It’s empire versus the rebel alliance in this tale as old as time!
The Student Has Become The Master of Airbrushing
Now Dan is the master! Showing just how intuitive airbrushes can be Dan has jumped at any model he can get his hands on to practice.
Having honed the technique on the downed AT-ST, Dan swiftly went on to paint his healthier model and was so enthused about the process and the instant gratification that comes from airbrushes, he moved on to some of his friends’ models! That’s another convert to the ways of the airbrush!
Join The Fluffy Pink Side Of The Force
After you’ve conquered the galaxy and suppressed countless insurrections, wouldn’t you get the fluffy pink slippers on and put your feet up?
In addition to some lovely basing work around the room, we’re also seeing some great painting on every army in the hobby hall. We can also bring an exclusive update on the music situation. there are some paragons of taste with Tay Tay and Pink being blasted out!
Join Us For A Saturday Livestream Where John Paints A U-Wing
Join us for another livestream at OnTableTop HQ where we take a tour of the hall on this fine Saturday of hobbying.
After catching up with our keen hobbyists, we dive in to the cage with John where he is going to run through a tutorial of painting a U-Wing? What’s a U-Wing you ask? It’s like a U boat but in a galaxy far far away…
How To Make Delicious Base Toppers With A Pasta Maker
What do pasta makers and wargaming bases have in common? They both make delicious treats? Well, not quite.
Gerry returns to the industrious Josh to find out exactly how he is making his amazing base toppers. the secret sauce is actually a pasta maker. With a combination of milliput and plasticine, Josh has been feeding it through the pasta maker then putting a textured rolling pin over the top to get some amazing details.
Visiting The Ewoks - Building An Awesome Forest Moon Of Endor Tabletop
This Forest Moon Of Endor table is the one which makes use of the fantastic terrain from the folks at 4Ground and Battle Kiwi. As you can see it really does look pretty impressive on the table and provides you with the perfect level of diversity when compared against the darker green of the trees.
Since Warren is working away on some great Ewoks for use in the game of Star Wars: Legion it only seemed right that we build a table to match it…or was it the other way around? Either way, we think this is going to be fun to play games on.
Guiding Young Padawans In The Ways Of The Airbrush
Guided will young padawan Dan be in the ways of the airbrush. Master John shows him the ways of the force.
Dan has an AT-ST model that he would love to use an airbrush on. But there’s also a downed At-ST for him to practice on. So John talks him through the steps of transitioning with aerosol primers to airbrushing techniques.
Our Hobbyists Are Letting Out Their Creative Streak
People are really finding their creative streak this weekend as they dive into their armies from last night.
From stormtrooper variants to base toppers to lobster looking royal guards our hobbyists are having a blast bringing their Star Wars: Legion armies to life.
A 3D Printing Surprise With Justin
Justin has worked with one of our community members to print out a surprise Star Wars mini for Warren.
Gerry gets to grips with some 3D printing techno-wizardry as Justin talks about the resin 3D printer that we have in the office. Using beams of UV light to cure the liquid resin, the mini has been taking shape overnight at OnTableTop HQ (as everyone hit the pub).
Explore A Blasted Warzone - Check Out Our Genonosis Table!
We’ve been getting stuck into all sorts of ideas for this weekend and we wanted to build a table from each of the trilogies. That is where the ideas for our Geonosis table came in, the place where the Clone Wars began and the Republic brought their massive armies (and vehicles) to the tabletop.
We have already had a game played out on this board which features our mighty Juggernaut towering over the battlefield, perhaps broken down and in need of support as the enemy masses from all sides.

Competitive Star Wars Lists With Our Community
Gerry and Justin have called in one from our very own community to discuss competitive lists for Star Wars: Legion.
As much as this weekend is focusing on the hobby aspect of Star Wars: Legion, we can’t forget about those excited to play through their first games or who are thinking about entering a tournament or two. Tim is here to go in depth on two of his competitive lists he would run at tournaments and the strategic reasons behind certain point costs.
Can’t wait for it to start. I got my star wars stuff but not sure I’ll get much done; not the best weekend but will follow as best I can
I watched part 3 today. There are so many different sceneries on different planets in the order 66 sequence. So there are a lot of ways to tell the story
