UK Games Expo 2018: Saturday Live Blog

Justin joins Simon from one of the first board game cafes in the UK: Thirsty Meeples. Bringing more than half of their huge 2500 collection, attendees can hire out board games and play them on the massive table section in Hall 2.

Justin tracks down Alessio from River Horse to request personal updates for the Pacific Rim and Highlander Kickstaters. In addition, Alessio is able to show off the brand new – hot off the press – Tails of Equestria adventure.

Justin stops off with Sam from Steamforged to talk about Godtear and Guildball. The Steamforged stand has a beautiful painted Godtear scenario set up showing off the game. Justin also asks for progress on the Resident Evil 2 Kickstarter!

The Bring & Buy area at UKGE is a wonderful (and dangerous) space, where people can bring in games to sell and hunt for second-hand bargains.

U-Boot was one of our favourite games when we got to play it, and it’s great to see it here at UKGE.

Justin stops by with Gemma from Battle Foam to talk about what they’re showing off at Expo. Their Shadespire Kit is selling like hotcakes, but they also have the Magna Rack on display.
