Scale75 have been working away at their newest edition of Fallen Frontiers. This game has an insane style to it and the miniatures are absolutely amazing.

If you have missed out on seeing them at UK Games Expo then there’s a great chance to check them out online.

Justin got to chance with ITB Games about a new take on their very successful game, Sub Terra. It’s now time to dive down into Sub Terra 2 and see just how dangerous things can get as you risk it all.

Exploration awaits…but so do terrible dangers. You must all survive so make sure that you avoid the menace in the dark.

Toon Hammer has a chat with Warren about their Sci-Fi game of survival known as Arkosa.

Playing in half an hour for one-to-four players this is a great excuse to get stuck into some awesome tabletop adventures.

While some of our younger audiences may not remember the golden era of the 3310 mobile phones with their highly popular Snake game, this may come as quite a surprise that it’s very tactical and fun to roll and write your way across this arcade themed game by Reiner Knizia.

With the D-Day celebrations and commemorations coming this weekend we find out what Battlefront Miniatures have planned for the expansions in Flames Of War as we look to the Late War.

Ben got a chance to sit down with Alan from Sonic Sowle Games to discuss the new game, Adventure Awaits, which is going to be coming to Kickstarter at some point this year.

The game is a toolkit for storytelling and offers up a lot of chance for alternative adventures, interesting quests, and maybe a boost to those who want to start role-playing. Or, maybe those who don’t have the time for a proper role-play session every week.

Warren got to get a chat with the folks between the PetEVIL which is a strategic card game all about world domination…where your pets are in command.

You need to check this one out if you like a bit of a quirky time on the tabletop.

• The key mechanics are around choice rather than randomness. A game of Deneb has at most, two coin-tosses for random elements, and everything else is down to player choice.
• It’s a skirmish-like game, but it uses tiles (which have built-in rules for elevation and other terrain effects) to build a grid for gameplay, and all movement and measurement is tile based.
• It’s quick to play, with the smallest size games taking 30-60 mins, and the biggest 60-90 mins.

From something that has started on our very own website using the projects system we’re highly excited to see what happens with Deneb and we hope to see Dave back again in the future with the success of his hobby!

Peculiarity Games has been showing off a very fun game at the convention, Sumo Gnomes. Justin was able to head on over and talk to them about this one here at the show.

Rob has landed in the streaming room with Ryan to talk about their awesome card game Epic, from White Wizard Games.

In addition to some clever emergency dice in frames, Sally makes everything from earrings to keychains, all inspired by the great hobby we all share. It would be a shame to break one of the cases containing those polyhedral dice, but when the need arises folks…

PSC Games have got us excited for a quick and easy dice drafting game which has you playing as the Romans during the Ancient times, Rome & Roll trying to control their expanding empire.

Six Gun Showdown is a quick 2 player game of shootouts in the Wild West. The game takes 5-10 minutes to play for ages 9+. It combines strategy, memory and a dexterity element, like a “quick-draw” that serves to generate tension and guides the players to read their opponent’s actions, really immersing them into the feeling of being in a shootout.

Is that a revolver in your pocket or are you excited by UKGE coverage?

The team at Holy Grail Games show us a prototype of their forthcoming game Titan where you mine for resources on Saturn’s largest moon, the titular Titan. The cardboard prototype already looks impressive so we can’t week to see the final game in plastic.

Ryan is joined by Tim from Square Enix and we’ve had to chain him down to control his emotions over Final Fantasy.

The Final Fantasy board games are relishing among the fans at UK Games Expo this year. The beautiful Chocobos have been part of many childhood attendees at the event this year and like most of us, will find gentle references in their board games from the video games made by Square Enix too.

Ryan is drawn in by sugary bribes to look at the eclectic games on show from Original Content London.

Not just satisfied to bring unique board game designs to the show, the guys at Original Content London are stylishly adorned with bobble hats and the like to show off their games. But they also have the perfect accompaniment to their sugary bribes in the board game Mobsters.

Ryan joins Jade and Rob from PlayFusion this weekend to discuss what’s been happening in the video and card game world.

It’s their first time at UK Games Expo and they’re blown away by the response they’ve had from Age of Sigmar Champions and Lightseekers and ready to discuss the newest updates and releases for their games coming up in 2019. Not to mention their dance offs happening on the show floor over the weekend.

Oh my… Looks like Leo from Para Bellum has been captured for the livestream.

Justin has brought in his freshman uniform for the Viking clan and recruited Leo from Para Bellum to talk about how the show has been this weekend for Conquest.

With the show being such a tremendous experience for everyone, it holds a special memory for Leo as Conquest has now been officially released for the public consumption.
