UK Games Expo 2025: Live Blog

UK Games Expo returns in 2026 from 29th – 31st May for it’s 20th Anniversary show!

We filmed quite a bit of content throughtout this weekend and in case you missed them we have complied a highlights package for each day of the show. We’ve have them all below for your viewing pleasure:

Ben swings by the Viking Village located just outside the NEC halls to take in a good old fashioned battle.

The very well known board game Catan had been updated to the newest 6th edition! Kevin from Catan Studios shows us around the Catan Studios stand and tells us what’s new in the newest edition of Catan.

Raybox Games are here at UKGE 2025 and they have some of their incredible games here with them for all of you lovely people to try out. The classic Escape From Stalingrad Z is here in all of its glory as well as all of the expansions and extra miniatures for it. Raybox have brought their newest game Escape From Projekt Riese with them so we can try it out and have a look at the fantastic miniatures. If you like cats, and who doesn’t like cats, you’ll love The Cats Of Mont Saint Michel where you become a swashbuckling cat in France either with your friends or on your own. Finally the Gates Of Niflheim see you become a viking on a journey to Hel. Whether you come back again is up to you and the Gods.

Whether its the Punic wars or the Anglo-Saxon wars Phalanx games has brought both Bretwalda and PUNICA to UK games Expo this year and are demoing both of these fantastic historical games.

Cerberus Studio great range of Celestial Affinity 54mm miniatureS now have a game to accomply them in the form of Celestial Affinity – The Decimation of Bearmount. Not only that their other range Mortals Reckoning will be getting a game too in the near future!

Ben chats with Grimskald to find out about Torch & Shield, skirmish game were Dwarfs delve into dungeons and need to keep their torch fueled as long as possible to avoid certain death.

Xplored are previewing Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery, a game which integrate tabletop miniatures with digital technology. It is done with a combination of smart figures which can be recognised via RFID tags, connected smart dice and miniatures with LED bases to show players the status of characters in real time.

Whether it’s shark teeth, rib cages, heads or tusks Pete The Wargamers dead animal bits has got you covered. As well as his dead animal bits he has also brought an early preview of his newest bits box being produced by Wargames Atlantic.

Ben takes a journey through halls 3 & 3A of UKGE in which he comes face to face with vendors, demo games, familiar faces and a giant mech! On his travels he chats with the guys at Rebellion Unplugged, TTCombat, Osprey Games and Chaosium Inc.

We take a look at SHUG, a party game/dungeon crawler mash up with some eye catching (we think Ben stopped by to get a closer look at the Sexy Armour).

Gerry has a chat with Daryl from para Bellum Games about Conquest and the newest faction released for the game, the Yoroni faction. They have demo games being played and some incredible miniatures to show off for the Yoroni as well as a sneak peak into the next faction that will be coming to Conquest.

This adorable anthropomorphic animal game Zoontalis Battle Royale is a must have for animal lovers. These gorgeous miniatures look fantastic and the guys at Dice Heads have a plethora of factions boxes for you to choose from

We take a look at the Roknauts from Ontos Games, space dwarves that would not look out of place in your local Toymaster from back in the day.
