Vesper-On Games the creators of Carnevale and Home Raiders are gearing up for their next big game Fanhunter: Urban Warfare. This will be going to Kickstarter soon and in the meantime Vesper-On Games will be posting little titbits regularly on their Facebook page to keep our appetite up for when the Kickstarter does go live.

For those of you who don't know what Fanhunter is, it is a comic and RPG created by Cels Piñol set in a parody of modern cultural mostly in Spain and is about resistance fighters who take on a self proclaimed Pope Alejo I (an ex-librarian who kills the real Pope and blows up the Vatican) and his quest to take over Europe and squash all pop-cultural.

Well of course no person with any sense of self worth is not going to take this laying down. So, where there is a dictator and his regime you will find a resistance force.

This force having their own identity crisis takes on ideals and lifestyles from the likes of shows such as the "A-Team", "MASH" and "The Rock". It is a very weird and twisted world.  I must admit, I am not familiar with this story and had to look it up, the art-style is something I have seen before.

I am really intrigued by this and I am anxious to learn more and I hope they are able to build a really solid game from this. Here in the U.S. I am not so sure many others will know of this world and I'm guarded on how the Kickstarter will do. My hope is that this Kickstarter will open all of us to a new and amazing world.

Are you familiar with the Fanhunter series?
