Fantasy Flight Games appear to have seen the success of the likes of Dice Masters and have entered the Collectable Dice Game market with Star Wars: Destiny. This is their first dip into the collectable market for a very long time...

Star Wars Destiny

This game will pit the light side against the dark side where you take control of heroes or villains and their corresponding dice. You'll then duke it out using your teams with their special dice and the cards that give them special powers and offer up all of the extra rules like health and more.

Star Wars DestinY Cards

Mechanically each of your dice has a number of faces on them which will allow you to damage your enemies, shield your own characters, gain resources, manipulate the dice, and trigger special abilities.

Destiny Dice

The dice themselves are also of incredible quality reportedly. Instead of just having stickers on the dice they have been heat treated and a scratch resistant coating has been applied to them too.

Destiny Boosters

Inside each of the different Booster Packs you can pick up you will get yourself five different cards and one premium dice that will be use-able with them (you'd hope!). I think the proof is going to be in the pudding with this game.

If it can be as engrossing and tactical as some games of Dice Masters then you might get people picking this beyond just liking it for the theme.

Rey Alt Art

Available at Gen Con you will also be able to get these alternative art versions of both Rey and Kylo Ren.

Kylo Alt Art

They are the main characters from the Starter Sets for both the Dark and Light side so it would be nice to have these as additional cards in your collection.

These cards will be for folks who take part in the demo game so you'll have to choose your side carefully!

What do you think of this games prospects?
