Fanticide’s Warband Of The Fae Welcomes Flower Dryads
January 18, 2013 by brennon
Alien Dungeon's Fanticide welcomes more models for the Warband of the Fae! Joining them are some rather colourful creatures, the Flower Dryads...
As you can see they certainly carry on the weird and wonderful look that we've come to know and love from Fanticide. If you want to know how to use them then you'll be glad to know that the rules for the Flower Dryads are free via their website right HERE.
What do you think of them, both rules wise and in model form?

Sorry but these are naff. AD arent gonna get anybody interested in Fanticide with miniature output this bland.
I know this is going to sound harsh but it needs to be said. As @willy2fly pointed out, this isn’t great models . This may have passed in the good old days when only a few makers of models where your only choice. But what can you say when the bases look better than the painted models 🙁
I thought the same and then I was wondering what they might look like without this paint scheme? There might be a potentially good model underneath that paint, maybe?

My thoughts too Ben.
Not sure why the Disney/My Little Pony colour scheme not well painted.
Unfortunately though I have to agree with the other comments
There should be clarity and crispness of definition imho and the models lack these attributes.
When u consider the content that Infinity, Warma/hordes, GW, etc and even smaller companies like Mantic and Defiance Games are putting out, these are just absolute garbage. They look like minatures you could buy back in the 80’s or something when they were basic detailed and basic cast. Very very VERY poor work indeed.
I wouldn’t have bought these in the 80’s either. I wonder if the dog’s breakfeast paint scheme isn’t hiding something that actually looks worse.
You guys might be right about the models but the rules are absolutely fantastic and fun to play. Plus, you can use whatever models you want to play the game. I’ve got no problem using some of my other figures while I wait for the range to develop.
