We've all been there: you go to all the effort of summoning Cthulhu from the depths of the abyss only to find when he arrives he's far too small to inflict terror and madness on your enemies. Well, get ready to cower in the shadow of utter insanity, because Petersen Games are bringing Cthulhu: The Harbinger to the tabletop, and that's one high priest.

Cthulhu: The Harbinger was originally a 3D sculpt made by Petersen Games for their Planet Apocalypse board game, but they've now decided to release it as a separate item for use across the whole Petersen Games range.

Of course, you're not limited to their range of games, and this Tentacled titan would look equally at home in a number of Lovecraftian games.

Designed by Keith Thompson, place Cthulhu: The Harbinger in a corner of your home, and soon he will lure your children into a world of spiraling madness and darkness from which there is no escape - a bit like Tellytubbies.

A pledge for the Great Old One also comes with the promo rules to play the character over six of Petersen Games products, and an 11" x 7" art print. For a little more than the standard pledge, you can even choose your own Cthuhlu colour!

Cthuhlu: The Harbinger is available now on Kickstarter, but it's ending tonight, so get your pledge in now!

Would you use this Great god for gaming or decoration (or both)?

"That's one high priest!"
