In the five years since first going to Kickstarter with his initial set of terrain Thierry Husser has released six ranges of resin battlefield terrain and even a set of hex-based terrain that can be used to replace cardboard tokens in games like Shadespire for a more interesting 3D element.

Over the years THMiniatures have produced beautiful pieces of resin from Icy magical ruins to steaming jungles and volcanic inspired craters. All cast in a robust lightweight resin that captures the detail beautifully. I've picked most of it up myself over the years and you may have seen it in tutorials and some of my army builds.

This time Thierry has brought forth a set of eleven individual pieces for 28-32 mm fantasy gaming. While it's a stand-alone theme they easily blend together with the earlier set of ruins and fortifications, that he began with, even some small details like the fountain bear artistic stylings that match the frozen ruins and could be blended with them, the only decision is how you base and paint them.

Like most of his sets, there is a large feature piece, in this case, it's a beautiful arched entrance. Perhaps it's a tower, or maybe it's the remnants of a large palace fallen to wreck and ruin.

Simply stunning.

The complete set contains walls of various sizes, ideal obstacles for blocking units in Oathmark or Kings of War. Ruined pillars for Frostgrave wizards to hide behind while they try to avoid being incinerated by a rival for the cities buried treasures.

If you have an itching feeling in the back of your head that it seems familiar you may not be wrong. Thierry worked for Rackham in the halcyon days of Confrontation and the straight curves? (is that a thing) are very reminiscent of the designs that were often painted on the figures. Each piece is available separately so you can pick up pieces you desire from each of the ranges or just grab the set.
