What’s New in the Red Box?

Red Box Games must have been in a flurry of activity lately with not one, not two, but five new models available to buy.
And here they are! Freyr the Turning Leaf (II)
Garret GotsWot
Lowly Albert of Ellesley
Sir Graham Smythe of Chalton
and finally TwoBears, Keeper of the Speaking Stones.
I think these models are of a really good quality. I especially like Freyr and TwoBears and I know a Bretonian player who'd love to get his filthy mits on Lowly Albert and Sir Graham.
All in all great job Red Box, keep up the good work!

It is always a pleasure to see Tre’s work
I’d lke to see them in their cast befoer I make a thoughtful remark, seeing the detail now they are pretty good sculpts but id still wanna see em painted up
To date I only have one metal cast (female dwarf) The casting has very little/no flash Trouble seeing the mould seam apart from under the axe handle and on the outside right leg Detail is excelllent imho and should take painting well! She measures 17 mm to the eyes by my reckoning. She is small but perfectly formed with excellent proportions. The downside is she is too good and small to fit with my kinder egg BoSP dwarves. I assume that the rest of the Red Box range are similarly true scale. That probably won’t stop me getting more Dwarves… Read more »
meant also to say the price per model is not expensive either
Here in the UK they are around £5-£7 each
Some are also avaialble in sets of 4 models for just under £15

TwoBears is perfect for an arthurian type ogre or giant (as opposed to the D&D type)… The Aenglish faction is really getting good !

Has anyone mentioned that these miniatures are 28mm true scale.
That’s the same scale as the GW LotR models!
If you’re looking for an awesome character for your LoTR force… one that certainly won’t break the bank… then these are perfect!
