Over on Facebook, Wargames Atlantic previewed their upcoming Classic Fantasy Battles Dragon that will be rampaging across the tabletop in 10mm scale wargames. See what you think of this towering creation.

Bear in mind that this is a prototype 3D print of the creature but it's already looking awe-inspiring indeed. The miniature certainly hits all the right notes for me with a classic feel to the figure. I particularly like the fearsome head and those curled horns. The wings also look great and it's covered in scales that are going to take Speedpaint/Contrast Paint very well.

The question from Wargames Atlantic was actually whether or not this creature was big enough! I think they've got the scale right for it but I know a few folks in the comments on social media are already asking for it to be bigger. I think this fits in well with the scale of the Orcs that you see in the foreground and it won't become massively unwieldy to paint or field on the tabletop.
You could join the Facebook Group and share your thoughts there. The Classic Fantasy Battles range is really shaping up well, considering the previews we've been seeing, and I can't wait until the Dwarves arrive and the game lands!

Because of dragons? 😉
That looks big enough to work with 28mm gaming too. Depends how expensive it is.
Beautiful dragon. I wonder if those base sizes are the official width of their forthcoming game. They seem to be 5cm or 6cm.
I think their interview suggested 40mm, same as Warmaster
That would make sense if they are trying to capture the Warmaster audience.
Say… nice dragon…
When it comes to 10mm/15mm scale gaming, you can often just use the existing 25/28mm monster minis you already own & the scale usually works out just fine.
Dragon seems to be in fine scale with the rest of the range.
I’ll never understand why so many wargamers seem to think everything needs to be bloody massive.
