Another Kickstarter for you today in the shape of Fanticide from Alien Dungeon, penned by amongst others Alessio Cavatore and Rick Priestly no less!
As well as helping the production of the rulebook, the Kickstarter for Fanticide is helping add some top quality action cards and even some interesting looking templates which you can see below...
Of course one of the best ways to tell if you like a game is to check out the miniatures, so here if a little run down of some of the forces on offer in the world of Nowhere.
So do you think you'll be helping bust that target for Fanticide? It certainly has a very original take on fantasy wargaming and with some giants of the industry behind it surely its going to be good?

Looks interesting but I think the real test for the game will be to see how it actually plays. Having said that though, FLYING MONKEYS!!!!!
Ive been looking at this for a while and my honest opinion is: I think creatively the rules and setting are interesting (still not enough to part with my cash) but the appeal of the actual miniatures is extremely limited and the sculpt qualities are pretty bad in this modern age. Regardless of some industry big-names being attached to the system it just seems… very low quality in its execution of the design of miniatures for the game itself. Interesting. Definetly has a different look as far as the miniatures go but I have to agree with jaerin on this. In this day and age the sculpting is kinda bad and definetly could be better. They look like they were sculpted back in the 90’s. That said I like the one eyed dudes.
So in a nut shell, not butting up money for this.
This game looks great and the demonstrations at Historicon had me sold. I hear what the previous commenters are saying about the miniatures. I, for one, will be happy to get my hands on some models that are easy to paint, and quick to get on my gaming table. Reading the Alien Dungeon site they talk openly about how deliberate they were to go with sculpts that are different than the industry norm.
