Armoured Clash from Warcradle Studios has been out for over a month now so we thought we'd dive into some of the painting going on in the community. There are some great painted miniatures out there for both the Crown and the Empire and maybe this will give you some inspiration when it comes to painting your own 10mm armies.

Adrian Binko

We start with some of the work by Adrian Binko. As you can see, they have been working away on a rather awesome militaristic scheme for their Crown miniatures across both the cavalry and the tanks. I like the clean look of that green but also all of the little spots of interest you see across the miniatures. I also like that the filigree continues to be picked out regardless. The Crown need to look awesome as they blast people away.

David Richardson has been doing some similarly sterling work on the Crown. I was particularly taken by the little Union Jack that got painted on the front of the tank!

Basing is also really key to making these 10mm miniatures pop and sometimes less is more. I think the scattered tufts here work well and don't detract from the miniatures themselves. You'll see this style of basing across a lot of the miniatures in this showcase.

The awesome Koen Cambre has also been working away on some excellent miniatures with a bit of extra swish to them. Here you can see some more of the walkers and yes, that is added tartan on a 10mm miniature on the legs!

One of the largest miniatures that Koen has been working on is this beast. Big guns and lots of bluster. You'll also note that there is plenty of wear and tear on show here as well as the lovely colour work. I like the grit and grime in particular on the front dozer blade.

Taking a step away from the Empire for a moment, we also have this work by draconian_minipainting who did some absolutely amazing work on the rumbling war machines of the Empire as well as some of their colourful troops. The deep bronze colour is absolutely awesome.

Ian Hill also did some super cool work on some more of the infantry that you get for the Empire. It's ace seeing the nice mix between the bronze and the bright green/blue and the purple. It makes for a very striking set of miniatures for your tabletop.

Seemingly, a lot of folks are very into the Crown at the moment though and so we've seen a lot of different paint jobs for this faction. Daniel Meißner did some excellent work on more of the cavalry for the Crown and once again, who doesn't like the look of a fluttering Union Jack behind charging cavalry?

When the charging mechanical cavalry fails, you can also call on some big guns. That's where the work of Richard Grabow pops off as some guns are being rolled into battle to start pounding the front lines of the enemy army.

The folks online haven't just been doing painting. Some folks have also been getting in plenty of games as well. A couple of Davids have been playing games using the initial releases for Armoured Clash as you can see below...

Here you can see a battle being played out by David Richardson (top) and David Smith (bottom). It's great to see some large-scale battles being played out with some of the big miniatures as well as the regular rank-and-file troops that you get in the smaller sets.

Last but not least, I wanted to show off some folks painting up a bunch of Dystopian Age terrain that will form the background of some future battles. This is some of the terrain by mp_miniatures.

This shows off some of the great work that the Armoured Clash and Dystopian Age community has been doing over the last few weeks. If you're interested in getting into Armoured Clash then you can check out the webstore from Wayland Games where you can buy your miniatures. Equally, you can find rules and ORBATS over on the Armoured Clash Website.

All of the images that you see here came from The Storm Of Steel Armoured Clash Facebook Group which you can join so you can share your work. Make sure to join up and show what you've been doing.

What have you been painting for Armoured Clash?
