Stay Safe!
Hmm… pigeon-holing the crew with catchphrases and causing consternation in seeing them trying to avoid them, sounds like a fun time. As far as an orky Tigerwagon this is a thing with merit for Orktober.
Looking at the Luke mini… would this be something to turn into a Giftmas themed figure and send to @sundancer ? You, the rest of the community weigh in.
Happy Halloween everyone. What I wouldn’t give for adding that Tigerwagon to my Retro Ork project!!!!
Kromlech’s Ork models and Orkified bitz are awesome. A few years ago I kitbashed a Tamiya Panther, a Panzer II, a Panzer IV and a StuG using Kromlech ork bitz, with lots of Dakar and painted them all battered and rusty. A Tigerwagon would be purrfect for this Orky destruction of wild cats.
Justin those conquest minis look great. Think you’re putting the rest of the team to shame. Really interesting to see the combination of base coat variation and contrast combined. Also “shading” the contrast paints takes it even further even if it is an extra step. Well done
The more I see of your conquest hobbying, the less impressed I am with the range. There seems to be mold lines and gaps everywhere. Are the models that bad, or are you rushing to get armies done and not fall behind? Then thers the mess under the right armpit of the Nord Blooded on the studio photo/box art. Or am I judging it wrong? Is this intended as a more cost effective range, rather than high end, high price?
Wow @dignity, your Dweghom look amazing!!
He’s doing a cracking job on them for sure.
Great looking adaptation of darkest dungeon, comes amongst a plethora of similar games though, and with the level of upgrades and customisation it’s not an easy or a family game, so it is certainly an investment. For me i think the video game gives me that experience without all the setup and housekeeping needed.
Ooooo tank tank tank 🙂
Yeah it’s certainly a game which becomes the focal point of your group
Uniform is a loose term for ECW. Folks would turn up in their own clobber, probably get a coat issued and dyes were rubbish. The New Model Army would have red coats but a random group of shades. As an army painter I’d go with the same shade of coat (for speed) and various coloured trousers to avoid complete uniformity.
In a mass battle army I’ll tolerate duplicate poses, I’m looking at the army as a whole, not individuals (in Warmahordes not so much).
Aye that seems to be the case from a look online. As for the dupe poses thing, I think it’s good to have at least a few different heads!
The badly fitting helmets seem an excellent way to achieve this 🙂
Who wouldn’t love to have a go with that tank!
Those poor Dweghom will never experience the joy of sushi
Justin’s Alive!!!!!
Like Justin I would like to get some new plastic Ork´ze infantry sculpts for WH40k, that means new Ork boyz. And for those who already have loads of “old” boyz invent a new standard unit, like “yungblutts” for the older, smaller models and “´eadbangers” for the new, bigger ones.
So we don´t have the old models just standing around on our shelves. We could still use them in games.
Core Space clarification; everything in True Born is preassembled plastic.
Everything in the first Kickstarter was also preassembled plastics.
There are to date just two sets in resin that were released direct to retail without crowd funding and do require assembly. Those are the Shift Change and Rogue Purge expansions.
I highly recommend Core Space for solo players, it is a lot of fun. True Born will feature a narrative campaign for solo or co-op play while the original set was aimed at 2 players competitive.
It is a really flexible game that lets you play in a ton of different ways.
Aye – I did realise I’d probably got that wrong which is why I said to check the Kickstarter. In the middle of filming, I had a complete mind blank!
Oh yeah, easily done and the right call! There were a fair few people confused when the resin expansions were released!
Likewise people get confused that Fallout Wasteland Warfare has a plastic starter but everything else is resin.
Watched this on Saturday like is good and proper 😀
tanks or the chance to win a tiger ork tank
If the new Descent had been backward compatible with the stuff I have, I might have been interested.
If it wasn’t ridiculously expensive… i might have been interested.
If I didn’t already have several dungeon crawlers… I might have been interested.
If the art was so crap… I might have been interested.
So… I’m not interested.
I NEED that Tiger Tank in my life!
What a great prize. I would love to add that Dakka to my army!
Cracking show, great Indy of the week, and Core Space Kickstarter looking epic
Question about the Adepta Sororitas Codex, Is it 9th edition compatable?
Looking forward to more Core Space!!
