Egad, an episode of crew silliness that does not disappoint. @lloyd Sheep and Rome, ’nuff said. @avernos The canopy issue might easily be solved. I’ll DM. @brennon Can we get any batreps from your games or written bits to your ongoing rpg campaigns?
Happy Sunday COGz an OTTers 👍😁👍
You’d make a ?Good? Politician Gerry ?
Nice Gray finish to your terrain their 🤔
MARS is in three’s ?
Was that colonel Deering ?!?
It was two holla hops Gerry 🤔
Armati did it well for ancients with realistic deployment where heavy infantry must deploy in the centre. Deployment with scouting makes players lean maybe more to taking light cav etc
Vis Bellica ran deployment with scouting and hidden movement and spotting which worked well
No podcast.. The dog walks won’t be the same without you.
It’ll be a ruff one🤔
🐶
Great show guy’s 👍
Sunday indeed 00:30 sports distilled 02:00 Wallace and Gromit was nice. XD 02:30 Rome? ROME! 03:45 Evil plants! 06:30 You’d only need to make sure that the connecting parts are the same colour or at least colours that don’t clash. I think I’d go for a brown and treat the magnetic connection points as buds where new parts sprout @avernos 12:10 Return of the hooker! 19:30 I iz a doctor not a physician! 20:45 Medical officer is an orfice-ers? 22:40 That’s a you problem @lloyd XD 26:30 Ba-BOOMS! 29:45 red earth! 33:45 pew pew 35:00 Who would cut budget for… Read more »

Fucking loved the editting from the editor at the end. Also fuck yes star schlock
yes and yes
LANGUAGE TIMOTHY!
Happy Sunday.
That mantic sf plant terrain would look really cool as the basis for the toxic jungle from Nausicaä of The Valley of the Wind. You’d need to add extra fluff and texture to make it look similar.
I’ve had fun back in the day with hidden setup games of Warhammer Fantasy. We used box lids. One time me and a friend both used this to surprise each other with new armies we’d both been collecting in secret. We both just laughed when the boxes were removed.
had to look that up, interesting look very green but with splashes of random colours
HAPPY SUNDAY….oh and for Friday, cant be arsed to go back and type in the box back there…
This probably won’t help. My current plan for the Mantic plants (when I get round to them in 2036) is to steal the colour shifting thing from one of the other community member’s projects but with some alterations. I intend to start with a gloss black primer, then drybrush any flower or other areas I want to use Xpress or inks on. Apply the xpress or inks to those areas and then airbrush colour shifting paint from the Vallejo Galaxy Dust set on the plant. Hopefully because the veins of the areas that I xpressed or inked would still be… Read more »
thanks for that, I’m curious about two-tone black and white priming, not a zenith but distinctly white and black, if you’ve seen the difference colour shift looks like on white primer compared to black I think that could be fascinating.
Wow, thanks for the Golden Button! I’m going to try to keep the battle reports coming. @brennon I think you’re going to enjoy Shatterpoint, the action is very narrative with a lot of great cinematic moments.
Well earned button, the bat reps are great.
I think the alien jungle all looking the same would be dull but having one colour that is close throughout (most plants in our jungles have some green) and then other colours throughout would make the most sense to our monkey brains, even if not being entirely alien.
Cracking ending, well done to the editor. Would like to know hit there’s a reason we don’t all get xp for dinging buttons – haven’t had any for a couple of years at this point?!?
I thought the exp went to the person who got dinged…
now I’m curious you are on 2593xp.
I shall return
it’s definitely gone up, something is increasing it, but I think it’s just for +1 on people’s comments
Yeah, haven’t had any “you’ve hit a lot of project buttons” achievement in years. It doesn’t really matter, I just thought the system had been switched off but it looks like it’s just that very few accounts trigger it any more. Having had a look, apparently only two of you hit 50 idea buttons last year XD
Same
Great show. Really wishing I had backed Star schlock, looks like I’ll have to get it the old fashioned way of just buying it.
well they’ve added a few new minis since its release you don’t need a lot to play and I almost think that you’d enjoy it for the reuse of current terrain. Think of those classic sci-fi shows where they ended up somewhere that almost looks like home ^^
Happy Sunday!
@avernos I finally added that group shot of my trees https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1916104/
thanks for that, and that is exactly what I’m talking about the riot of colour I think looks far better than the monochrome look.
awesome ending. who was editing ity @avernos?
that strikes me as a John edit
