Wild West Exodus Faction Chat: The Enlightened!

This faction chat for Outlaw Miniatures' Wild West Exodus looks at the faction headed by the mastermind of RJ-1027 Dr. Carpathian, The Enlightened.
RJ-1027 is a miracle cure-all wonder substance (think snake oil!) in the WWX universe that can power technology, rejuvenate the living and re-animate the dead. This is something that Dr. Carpathian has utilised to great effect as his faction is filled with undead/machine constructs he's willing to sacrifice to achieve his goals.
Carpathian's not doing this alone as his family tagged along for the ride too! There's more to come from our faction chats this week so stay tuned.

Out of the factions presented so far, these guys are most interesting
Not my faction, but my buddy will be playing them so it looks like these guys are going to be my regular opponents.
I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the enlightened miniatures, but their rules seem like a blast.
These guys look realy cool and are very steam punk like

Really like that the game seems to be very heavily fluff based.
the models are great, but never been my favourite! few models i would grab for just painting/converting tho!
The Creations looks fantastic.
These are cool, but, not for me. I’m waiting to see the Warrior Nation.
I really like the backround of this game. It’s full of tragic heroes and theire struggle to do the right things. You can understand the motivation of each and everyone, even the (in the end) evil Dr. Carpathian. Great work, Outlaws.

You can’t beat a good zombie. Especially ones with miniguns! Just painting Creation 13 at the moment.

I was worried that these guys may be a little “Wild wild west” (terrible film). Turns out, they’re ok.

I play Lawmen, but have been tempted by the Enlightened…. and the union… and warrior nation…errrrm and now the factions coming in the kickstarter…. wonder if the wife would be up for selling the house… just hope the landlord doesnt find out

Great chat! The Enlightened are my favorite faction, so I was amazed when I saw the Scorpion Tank in the pictures revealed. Does that machine make part of the KS?
Hopefully Tesla will be on the side of the Union or a mercenary, just to oppose Edison.
Yep, Tesla is a Union Boss. Rides an awesome walker and electrocutes people. All the fun!

I like the theme of this group, but they don’t do it for me.

This definitely spiked my interest in The Enlightened. Some of the technology and what it can do is pretty awesome.
To me, it’s not Dr. Carpathian that makes this faction the bad guys, but rather Thomas Edison. 😉

Amusing to see the “Enlightened” only being a few character and mostly brainless zombies. Enlightened, indeed! (I’m sure it was a pun on their name.) Not a big fan of horde armies, so I would likely go with a different group.

I am really getting into this faction. Carpathian is great but the Creations and Animations this faction awesome. Definitely getting a Dr. Frankenstein vibe from this faction.
These guys have some really cool minis, had a hard time passing them up during the kickstarter
This faction isn’t bad, but the Outlaws are still my favorite.
I think this is the only faction thus far that I don’t love immediately.
I really like the creations, but some are pretty silly especially the monocav or the torsotank.

Becomging a construct sounds even more terrifying than becoming a zombie. Being consciously malicious gives this faction its character.
