Wild West Exodus Faction Chats: Holy Order!

It's time to get righteous with another Wild West Exodus Faction Chat where we're looking at the forces of the Holy Order!
The Holy Order have the distinction of being the first humans on the planet and have the most structured hierarchy in the WWX universe. They don't need RJ-1027 but instead have the power of the Relic to aid them against the forces from above and beyond.

I always enjoy the religious Order/Templar factions in games so I have little doubt these will be fun too.

I love the idea of the Holy Order, but the models have not inspired me (probably the only faction bar Warrior Nation that haven’t). It’s a shame.
I’ve never been interested in religiously motivated factions in games, but their unique blend of weird cowboy sorcery seems pretty cool to me.

I was not originally interested in this faction, but after watching this it has made picking a starting faction even more difficult.
I may not play this faction, but I will probably end up with a few of them just to paint them up.
Not too fond of this faction. I couldn’t quite see the Outlaws going against the Holy Order. =/ They look more in the vein of 40k then a Wild West game.

Looking at my range of usual suppliers of all things gaming however, there doesn’t seem to be much availability in the UK – even the ones mentioned on the WWX website either don’t show it on their pages or only seem to have a very limited range (e.g. a rulebook only, no minis/starter set).
Guess I may have to order from the good ol’ US of A (if I can sneak it past the wife!)

I’m kinda liking the army wide boosts as to Influence.
My least favorite of the bunch. They seem ok but just don’t give me the same excitement the other factions do.
It’s impossible to choose. They all have great background and stunning minis. Going for the combined starter set ‘Outlaw Vs Lawmen’. I’ll take it from there. D.x

Great video guys, I picked this faction up from their black friday sale and the mini’s are incredible. In retrospect I wish I has picked up 2 more tumblers as they are fantastic.

The Holy Order looks like an intriguing group.
Really like the flavour of this game… one question it has raised in my mind is with so many good games does this weaken the long term support for a system. With just GW we played the same thing for many, many years good for GW. Now if i get bored I can just jump ship to another system so will we see lots of games falling by the way side as we tramp ever towards the new? Just a thought.
I think the holy order hired hands are the best looking hired hands in the game. I’ m not particularly a fan of the looks of the bosses.

I really liked the other factions but the background for the holy order has me sold and the artwork for them looks great too.

This could well be my second faction of choice – just like the background and miniatures.
Its a tough call….I was pretty sold on the Union but these guys look pretty cool. Maybe if I jump in I’ll just bite the bullet and grab two factions….
When I looked at all the factions I wasn’t impressed by Holy Order but this helped alot and now I really like the faction.

I was hoping for a more old world feel across this faction, like they’re sending people and vehicles to America to get a handle on RJ.

I love the look of the Holy Order. My only concern is the fact they are massively out numbered in a fight. My friend was proxying the Holy Order and he won a few games. However he went up against a Warrior Nation army and could not kill them fast enough. They also suffer from not enough choices when building an army. I am hoping they will be fleshed out more in the kickstarter.

Interesting. This faction turned out to be different from how I expected them to be.
The line troops look very good, not keen on the bosses but man line troops well cool. Still though I believe my choice is between union and warrior nation

Just when I thought I knew which faction I was gonna play this video popped up. I’m really torn between the GA, Warrior Nation and this one.
I have a feeling this next kickstarter is gonna wipe out my bank account. LOL
I’m not sure yet about the Holy Order. The ancient armour look and ‘magical’ symbols put me off a bit. It doesn’t really seem to fit the rest of the setting. But I am very curious about those four horsemen.

Very “Inquisition”. I walked away feeling like the other factions had a bit more personality.
It could be that Sean is getting tired. He didn’t have the same enthusiasm and articulation in this chat. It was probably filmed nearing the end of a long day.

They do have a kind of fanatical/inquisition/Menoth feel to them… I feel like many that the outlaw or warrior nation are more emblematic of the game

Interesting background for this faction, just like the other factions and universe! However, the Enlighten would not be my first choice of faction, i’m still thinking between outlaws, warrior nation and the others also!

Could have a lot of narratively with these guys, depending on how fanatical you take them. Would they purge a town along with who’s opposing them on the battlefield? It’s of fun to be had there

More like the Holy $^%! Order! Wow are they cool. I don’t think my outlaws would much like meeting them in a dark saloon.
