Wild West Exodus Faction Chats: Warrior Nation!

In this faction chat for Wild West Exodus by Outlaw Miniatures take a look at a faction that Warren has been particularly looking forward to, the Warrior Nation.
This faction originally consisted of sparsely located tribes but events in the WWX universe have brought the Warrior Nation closer together to take on their enemies.
This faction is unique as it rejects RJ-1020 and the Dark Council's influence to instead utlise the spirit world for assistance, including transformations into werewolves and bears for example!

I was looking forward to this one. At first glance it would seem that these resemble my beloved beastmen.
Really like the look of some of these models.
I love the Buffalo, I really hope the kick starter reaches the goal to unlock him

currently warrior nation is under represented in the fluff. They usually get used as quick easy antagonists or they are whipping posts. They really need some spotlight on then in the novels

Yes, the first three (Jesse James chronicles) are great.
If you are into The Lawmen or Outlaws, then you will enjoy them. If you are into Warrior nation, not so much. Most of the other factions make apearences but a large chuck of the story of the three books follows Jesse or Wyatt
Still need to read Bastion and Wayward novels, but I got caught up in a 20 book series and am just finishing it up.
I like the braves the most. Im not sure about the man beasts. But the war beasts are cool

I haven’t seen a bad miniature from them yet. Everytime I look at one faction and think “…that one” then I see something else. Just don’t tell me they are going to do a ‘man with no name’ mini. Please. D.x

Yeah, I can totally see my mate getting into these guys. There’ll be me with Dr Carpathian sending exploding constructs in his way to wear him down before a battle to the death. Also, looking forward to seeing the Dark Nation arrive during the Kickstarter. Sweet!

The Warrior nation easilly is the most interesting in my eye, for starters the Native Americans have always been so fascinating to me and from a fantasy perspective this fits in so naturally. I’ve also heard nothing but good things which is so rare
I’m looking forward to the Goldern Army. – can’t decide with them for a second faction or Lawmen.
I just love the idea of re-creating Tombstone the movie with Doc Holiday squaring off against Johnny Ringo!

I Love the warrior nation, such great models, i loved painting these, i really love my outlaws but i think Warrior nation is my favorite, still havent finished painting them yet so not got to test them though !

Well these guys certainly look interesting to play, but I think the lack of ranged puts me off slightly. However if the minis look half as good as the artwork they’ll be an awesome army to put n the table
At the first look of this faction i tought it was the weakest one but now seeing all those big beast and flying monster i am not sure anymore , now is it going to be one that a will get? I can say not yet i do prefer the look of the dark nations but i will probably get a starter box of them so i can get the feel of them , the things that like is the fact that they don’t really need a line of sight to at something and the fact that they can turn dead guy in to werewoulf and use their ability THAT is really cool

With the Going Native: New World Monsters kickstarter on at the moment, these guys are the faction for me. Werewolves and other beasties, oh my!
Warrior Nation are really cool but not as much as the Dark Nation. I can’t wait for the Kickstarter 🙂

I have just about all of the Warrior Nation models made thus far, and they are superb. I’m actually quite surprised Outlaw isn’t showing more actual miniatures in these videos. Their models are awesome.
I’ll admit this has piqued my interest in this game. The Warrior nation might be where I would jump in.

Some interesting models and a cool story for them. Love what I have seen of this game.
I really like the look the designers have given this faction ….not relying on too many native American stereotypes. …..probably will get them as a starter faction as I always root for the Indians in the Westerns!….although the “watchers” Greys faction looks interesting too.
Interesting – like the idea of a standard tribe with the odd ‘changed’ character, and it’s nice to heard you can do that. Possible 3rd faction ?

Love the characters and really intriguing back story for the girl character especially as the new dark nation faction seem to have an evil version of her. Could have made my mind up on which faction I choose
Although I’m not a huge fan of the faction’s regular models (although the shapeshifted ones are very nice), it does make me very excited for the Dark Nation. I can’t wait for the KS to launch 😀
I hope that there will eventually be an uninteresting faction that I can easily skip and spare my wallet further brutality…..not looking good.

Ooh, makes me lean now towards Warrior Nation as one of the factions I’d pick for the kickstarter. Best brush up (sorry for the pun) on my fur and skin painting skills, after being so used to painted guys in full body armor.

This is my faction. I like the alternate history.
Hmmm… Not as cool as the sc-fi/steampunk-ish cowboys IMHO, but each to their own!

Was not sure about this faction when i first started WWX, but they have grown into one of my favorites.

I know that the Warrior Nation know about the Dark Council and are fighting them and the RJ 1027 Technology. Why are they not more vigilant watching for corruption in their own people; ie. Walks Looking?

When I first started hearing about WWX, the Warrior Nation never really appealed to me. But they’ve been growing on me lately.

I have yet to buy any figures for this game but this is the faction I am most interested in. I usually buy at least two factions for any game – this one would certainly be one of my two.

I was on the fence about getting the Warrior Nation. They were the faction I wanted to back when the first Kickstarter was out. But now that I know more about them and have seen the buffalo it’s a done deal.
Definitely more interesting than I thought they’d be, but sadly still my second least faction. I can see the draw for those interested in Native Americans however.

Like the rest of them, those models are great! I think that they would be the most fun to paint though, they have nice colors and with the addition of Werewolves and Werebears, wow, just wow!
