DakkaDakka.Store are now on Kickstarter with a new campaign to bring a range of 3D printable miniatures to tabletops based on the Forgeborn and the Blessed Ones. Much like with previous campaigns from DakkaDakka.Store, this comes packed with options for making core troops, elite units and some epic characters too.

This continues the "versus" releases from DakkaDakka.Store introduces a whole bunch of kits and pre-assembled sets that cover both the Forgeborn, wreathed in flames as they are, and the Blessed Ones, throwing their lot in with the dark forces that hide in the shadowy corners of the galaxy.

Forgeborn Miniatures

On the side of the Forgeborn, you have the likes of their fearsome MagmaForged who are heavily armoured and armed warriors carrying weighty shields. I would imagine those hammers don't always crackle with energy but instead radiate an intense heat that turns enemies they smash into piles of slag.

Plenty of fire belches forth from the weapons of the FireForged Squad which you can also pick up for the Forgeborn. Once again, you get a good kit that comes with options for those using official kits alongside ways for you to build them as wholly DakkaDakka.Store miniatures if you prefer.

I would imagine that a lot of folks are already drooling over these options for crafting their own, unique Salamander miniatures for use in Warhammer 40,000. Any epic army of Space Knights needs some heroes to lead them and the Forgeborn can snap up the likes of Gefest, Forge Father.

I like the imperious pose that he's in, staring down his enemies. I love that whoever did the paint job on the miniature above decided to make sure you know he really, really adores that hammer with the inscription on his chest plate.

Blessed One Miniatures

On the other side of things, we have the Blessed Ones who have thrown their lot in with something dark and terrible. Their armour is still in the early stages of being twisted and broken by their decisions but you've got plenty of nods towards their heresy in the designs that you can see here in the likes of the Punisher Squad.

It's a really nice look that goes in a more archaic direction which is nice for those who just don't enjoy the thought of painting a lot of trim! All of the designs and by extension, the details, look lovely and it will be good to see these being added into the mix alongside existing armies and new ones.

If you do want to see what blessings the Blessed Ones have received, you can also get the impressive Blessed Tor'da Rek set which comes with some mutated and warped warriors.

A solid set that will work for the Blessed Ones but you could also see these being used alongside a lot of other "Chaos" forces. This is by no means all of the miniatures that DakkaDakka.Store has to offer over on Kickstarter and I would suggest going to investigate for yourself.
