Great show as ever, sad I was only able to join for about the last 40 minutes today, the first week back at work very busy! Super grateful to see so much of the latest updates to the Deneb project shown. I hope people get a chance to look through the world artwork (next couple of posts on from where you got to), but I may have overloaded those with Lore! It is a lot of text to scroll by 🙂 Still lot’s more to come!
Hey that’s my mini 🙂 logged on to BOW to see my Kal Jerico on the home page that’s really made my day, thanks for the compliment, the squat is a thunderer I’m not lucky enough to own any genuine squats so trying to make it a little more 40k.
I actually have some of those Oldhammer Thunderers but the gun looked too fancy! My eyes were tricked!
brilliant projects love the quality of all the painting tut tut ben not liking the Dune books.
I didn’t like the film. I haven’t read the books.
Yup its not a good example of the book series to much in one film its book 3/4 before they had rain in the book’s the TV series’s are a but better Ben (I think).
Afraid time zone differences prevent me from joining in live but I try to catch up each week as the work is always inspiring and the company good. So very flattered that you like my Wolsung minis so I thank you for the compliments. I agree with Lance that their individuality makes them incredibly fun to work on. They are such nice pieces it’s hard to paint them badly, to be honest. In answer to your question about the highlights on the car, they are painted on. A few layers (Black with increasing amounts of Kantor Blue) feathered to the high points. The truck is my next project!
I’m the painter of the lord arcanum. What kind of washes would you recommend?
