The Beginner Box contains ten themed Jumpstart decks, two of which (the Vampires and Cats decks) are specifically ordered for the tutorial. You'll also find two reference cards, two playing guides, two playmats and life counters. This box will walk you and a friend through your first game using the Jumpstart decks and after that, you can mix and match any pair of decks you wish to. Each one is tailored to new players and gives an idea of how the themes work together in Magic: The Gathering.
Will you be building castles in the sky on solid foundations?

Box contains: cards! XD Never played MTG. Watched people play, got a headache and never touched it again.
Mmm that’s a no from me
That’s going to be a no from me, dawg.
Realizing that posting MTG content on a minis wargaming website will engender some amount of rage & rending of garments, but truthfully Foundations is an excellent beginner product if you are at all interested in trying out the world’s most popular collectible-card-game. Just sayin’.
No rage here, just curiosity—how does Foundations stack up against something like Duel Decks from back in the day?
