Warcradle Studios has announced that they are beginning work on a new edition of their 35mm skirmish game, Wild West Exodus. Development is ramping up and you'll be able to dive into more gunslinging skirmishes in the not-too-distant future!

The new edition of the game aims to have the players tell their own stories through high-octane skirmishes set against the backdrop of rich lore generated by the ever-changing Dystopian Age that you'll have experienced in games like Dystopian Wars and Armoured Clash.
James M. Hewitt, Lead Game Designer, said...
“With the new edition of Wild West Exodus, we’re creating a game that really focuses on fast-paced, deadly shootouts where every decision matters and big risks can lead to big rewards. We’ve put a lot of thought into the tone and pace of the game. We want to create something that will appeal to anyone who’s a fan of tight, cinematic tabletop action, while also satisfying the wants and needs of existing players.”
...and this was also followed by a word from Matthew Parker, Game Designer
“As a long-time fan of Wild West Exodus, I’ve always loved the immediacy of it; running and gunning, dealing with the game as it unfolds rather than long-term strategic planning. It always felt like a chaotic shootout rather than a protracted engagement. That’s something we want to lean into even more. Also, the zoomed-in nature of a skirmish experience lends itself to more intimate story elements than larger-scale games, so it will be a fun challenge to integrate more narrative into the new edition.”
It sounds like we're going to be getting a slick and cinematic set of rules coming out for Wild West Exodus to suit the bombastic characters of the game's setting.

It will be fascinating to see what direction this takes and I'm sure we'll be able to bend the ear of James and the rest of the development team in the coming weeks and months.
Are you excited to see what Warcradle do with Wild West Exodus?

Ah cool! One of my favourite games so very happy to see it getting some love!!!
Looking forward to WWX. My friend was a big fan when it came out.
Fantastic …. it’s been a while (years) since WWX has had any news at all looking forward to this, and I like the way young James Hewitt does rules so I think this will be awesome
So excited to see what people make of the lore progression that’s coming for the Dystopian Age.
Finally!!! Cannot wait, The Dystopian Age Lore is rich with character and the quality of the plastics is on par or superior to anything GW puts out.
It’s been exactly four years since WWX last release and six years since they promised Lost World Exodus. I don’t think rules mercenary James M. Hewitt can resurrect this system, even with his standard ‘add more cards and random events’ element (which he does for every game system he works on).
