I have to say I like the graphic novel style to the art, umming and ahhing over backing either PDF or hardcopy level. Some of the monster details are excellent for helping a session work (e.g. saying that a particular shapeshifting monster, in any form, has red speckles on their stomach). Perfect for those creepy clues that perhaps add up later in a session.
