@mage pics below of Ruined Hamlet kit with Mordheim minis for scale. It actually doesn’t look too bad (although the smaller door section is much lower than the main/external door – refer crossbowman standing immediately behind the doorway in pic #3) – main issue seems to be the base height rather than the minis per se. Standard GW bases elevate the mini a little higher than is strictly necessary for the scenery. So you could use the Ruined Hamlet kit no probs, especially if you were utilising a less elevated base and/or mounting the walls/ruins on a base (OK, I appreciate it wouldn’t help when the mini was inside and also on the building base, but would assist with a ‘mini is outside’ comparison…).
