@sundancer I do not think the timezones are too bad, lol. Then again I do do shift work. Speaking of which, I did the red while exhausted, and quickly, once I got home from work. As soon as the first stroke of red went on I knew it was the right decision.
@woldenspoons Two? Wrong? Lol Im too tired to get it. If I get another one I think I will do a ghostly themed about it: pale skin with vaguely ghostly looking robes and rusted armour.
Kinda a puppy. Floofy, not metal. The Griff Hound?
Thanks for the compliment. I used to love Orks but my feeling over time changed. Maybe it was the models released, prices, where the game was going, or just changing tastes. I have a serious nostalgia bug for them now and a bunch to paint. Also wanna pick up some other models. I want to do at least three different detachments:
Deathskulls Clan: Heavy Support one (can’t remember the name)
Evil Sunz Clan: Outrider Formation
Bad Moonz: Vanguard Formation
Just for fun.
The Mordor Troll is:
(1) Balthasar Gold
(2) Gehenna Gold
(3) Soft tone (AP dropper bottle) applied liberally
(4) A slight dusting of Griffon Gold
Red makes the dakka go fasta! Waaaaagh!
Thanks dude. I think a pale, kinda sickly green works. Makes it look more real. Also if it Is muted and more drab the crazy blues, yellows, oranged and red really pop
Haha, that’s our Matty. The Mr Greeze stuff are beautiful minis to be fair.
Thanks for the compliments on the trolls, they were quick and easy. Full of shortcuts. Not intended to be exceptional.
@sundancer Ah, the red era.
@oriskany I surprised myself with how good a suggestion Stephen King was, haha. The robot is a support mech for a board game using even bigger robots. That’s all I know til I start playing, lol. Those are ‘Iron Gobz’ and have been a part of GW 40k Orks for quite a while. Its to mark out leaders.
