@evilstu Cant remember if I replied to you or not so here goes.
Yeah so far so good. Hes a happy kid so it makes a lot of stuff easy. But he is also stubborn and boisterous. He did say he wanted Dungeons and Dragons stuff for Christmas to his mum. He just turned five.
It was a fun Halloween but next time Id rather try make my own in a cosplay sort of way. Still, building it wouldn’t be too hard.
Turpentine adds a layer of complexity I just do not wanna do, haha.
Thanks for the compliment on Albionnicans. Im finishing an alternative pose captain which should take only an evening. I have a wizard to do which has different colours and more details so it is breaking the enthusiasm and the flow of the project for me. I just gotta stop being a wuss and get on with him. Still, eight models left only. Makes a change from the days I batch painted 40 Corsairs.
The Stormtroopers will remain red as Magma Troopers with them intended as being part of Darth Vader’s personal army from Mustafar, a lava/mining.
Imperial Guards? The Emperor’s robed buddies? They aren’t out til Christmas I think. But yes.
@woldenspoons I am liking your kill team stuff, especially the table. Im hooked on terrain lately, myself.
@limburger Buy. Buy them. The Orks. Buy the Orks…
@sundancer Your Star Wars stuff is progressing nicely.
Well, I wasted my day yesterday playing Ocarina of Time for most of it. I think I needed to recharge my batteries. Im doing a painting night tonight with a friend. Hope to do a little bit more on the temple of skulls. Not sure if I should add grass or tufts to it or not. They will be hopefully finishing their Batman Miniature Game crew.
Also, I am looking forward to some D&D on Saturday! And continuing my Arcworlde and Terrain painting kicks. Also gotta work on the material that @evilstu sent me on once I finish the AoS terrain for my board (which is litterally a dusting of paint on the temple and two objectives).
