I don’t think the poses are that far off for the mounted troops (at least they didn’t do the firing to the left pose on a mounted figure…which is always my pet peeve). There’s some better pictures here, and they are up for pre-order so these are new figures…..

I actually think it’s the dismounted figures that suffer from bad posing, but that’s just my (rather picky) opinion 🙂

But you are right on the horse sizing, it’s always been the case when they cast horses in metal (no matter who the manufacturer). Perhaps you can call them “1er cheval de pit poney monté” in your army list 😀
