@arkmechanicus congrats on the new airbrush! And sweet work on your Tzeentch gribblies so far. yeah I know where your partner is coming from – I hate painting with naked minis. I have a box of Zombicide Black Plague with all the KS extra stretch goals that I haven’t even attempted to learn as I have only painted one model so far…

@rayzryr great work so far. How are you finding the Red Box mini? I really like the look of their stuff – they would be great for characterful mass battle game heroes or representative D&D minis. I’m still stuck on a paint scheme for skin tone for drow/dark elves. think I’m going to trash the Elder Scrolls Dunmer approach and go with the approach in the vallejo malefic flesh paints set – If I do that then I can sort of have it match across narratives.

@dawfydd wow I’m surprised it’s taken so few ‘regular’ primaris complete kit purchases to provide so many conversion opportunities. I’d just assumed you were picking up standard squad kits fairly regularly (or paying an enterprising 13 year old to go dumpster diving behind your local GW store in the wee small hours of the morning 😛 )

@woldenspoons say it? I can’t even read it without hearing ‘the voice’ in my head 🙂

@horati0nosebl0wer I have no idea where you find these gems 🙂 had to do a double take when I heard the second track – the start sounded like a cover of Manson’s Beautiful People…

@jodain yeah I sort of went and printed all the things…  Now I need somewhere to store them 🙂 I need to take a block of time and get some printed terrain painted. Still need to work out how to approach painting printed terrain – I’ll need to modify the way I wash and drybrush due to the lines from stepping in the print. I don’t know, maybe starker edge highlighting could work? I do need to learn how to use pigment powders so that might be a nice opportunity. Seriously though, keen to see how the piece turns out. Anyhow, given from your posts I’m inferring your interests are more along the 40k/Kill Team/Legion side of things, I’ll just drop some links to fun stl’s here: 😉
