@blinky465 as I have gotten older I get pleasure simply from helping either new painters or those interested with gaming. I’ve painted stuff for my local shop and hit deadlines for them when they have donated to a local school club but always miss my own lol it doesn’t help that I’ve health issues that restrict me, but like everyone it seems I’ve got a cupboard of part way and pending projects. Overall  not reliable enough with my health to plan or commit to X amount of hours as I am up and down like a whores drawers but if folk are happy to be patient I’m game.

I posted earlier on page 2 about supplying something from my 3D printer then just thought id offer what I do anyway as well.

whilst I served in the navy I used to run painting classes on basic techniques etc every Wednesday night and had a dining room full of nerds much to the wife’s annoyance. one lad with physical disabilities I taught had me scratching my head making stuff to try and dampen out his tremors. within a year and hours of dedicated practice he was far beating me in terms of finished product and I was learning from him, how do you do that the prominent question.

this act of random kindness things a good way to broaden contacts and make new friends sharing experience and techniques so It can only be good for ones hobby plus if its a youngster its helping another generation of gamers and gaming.

I’m meeting a chap from Facebook a total stranger on Monday who’s moving to where I live, to introduce him at the local gaming store and get his foot in the door with local clubs and gaming. it was a random request for help on our club webpage.

whilst I wouldn’t advise this to any younger readers here for an old ex serviceman who used to box I needn’t worry im too big and ugly to be groomed or anything else lol

I think this could be a great annual thing for the community a secret santa, act of random kindness whatever I see it called im up for supporting it
