Part 2 of 2:
A couple of quick conversions I tried out – apologies these are very rough and ready. I just grabbed some spare bits that were literally sitting on my work bench to see how the parts looked together. So no clean-up work etc was done 🙂
Left to right – Shield Wolf Shieldmaiden on Freebooter base, conversion with GW Daemonette on GW 25mm base, Shieldwolf mini converted to look like High Elf Maiden Guard on 20mm printed base.
And a size/scale comparison:
L to R: GW Priest of Ulric (2003 model so some subsequent scale creep in the GW range), Shieldwolf Shield maiden (noting Freebooter base so lower profile) GW Daemonette conversion, Shieldwolf torso on standard height base with GW head and arm components, GW Way watcher (Again, from around 2003 so much smaller than their newer sculpts).
For a non-GW comparison:
Ranges L to R: Reaper, Reaper, Bombshell Minis, Fireforge, North Star/Osprey/Frostgrave, Shieldwolf, Wargames Factory (I think…) and Zealot Minis. Note that once again the Shieldmaiden is on a Freebooter base and most of the others still have a moulded base affixed.
