@robert Boxes… sooo many little boxes with small plastic bags to hold fiddly bits with original figures (and the occasional base that I built up to show the figure off with). Good stuff to see going on with the experimentation. I might try that out after I get moved and resettled with more units to fool around with.
@evilstu Yes, there was some of that. I just gave up on trying to be as detailed as some of the insane painters that I dug up for inspiration on the Epic forces. As far as books I’d say that looking into odd history and finding a photographic record of medical examination from Johns Hopkins’ library (class photos from when it was illegal in the US to train to perform autopsies) there is definitely still out there that is interesting in a weird way.
@tuffyears Anniversary prize!?! I need to get back onto my account. I’ve likely missed so many cool promo tanks. Then again I would likely just keep grinding with my PzIV (normal and Girls und Panzer edition) aside from going further up the German line
@limburger Oooh nice stuff. Very very nice Black Rose stuff. I wasn’t too keen on the Zombicide sculpts when looking over renders. I think that the industry may have been a little ahead of itself with Anima Tactics regarding the truly fine detail figures. It might’ve been the scale, the price, or the lack of achievable technical skill for the average painter but the line died harshly. I think that there was some hope for Helldorado, as another dead game, but again the game just didn’t take off in volume for some reason.
Time to go get food and then work… totally not inspired by the music
