Cracked today and finally ordered some Bolt Action activation dice, so might be able to test WoE soon 🙂 New bed sensor for my printer is scheduled for delivery next Tuesday, hoping it’s not too onerous to get up and running again… It should be fine, just swapping out a part but I’m always a little hesitant playing with anything involving electricals and volts and wires etc ;-P
@blinky465 best of luck with the car repairs – always such an inconvenience when it happens. Hope you get a quick resolution 🙂 10 points.
@robert thanks for the suggestion re superglue activator. Had a few empty bottles of the AP activator and was going to go through a process of testing mixing bicarb with water, isopropyl alcohol, methylated spirits and mineral turpentine to see which one worked best. Tried water first and it worked fine so I didn’t get any further 😉 haven’t been able to source AP magic spray or an industrial equivalent locally for about 2 years now so having a DIY substitute is good news 🙂 20 points.
@horati0nosebl0wer yeah your’e right the airbrush might be a bit much – a mate of mine carries his airbrush around in his painting kit but his painting kit is a 2 1/2 foot cube steel toolbox… Hey, I thought the girl in the 2nd Within Temptation video linked looked like tarya from Nightwish.. 🙂 20 points
@tuffyears probably more brutal than an Ewok… 10 points
@oriskany cheers 🙂 yeah planning on doing my AWI on square bases too when I get there. Napoleonics I’ve left on the default round bases that came with but have rectangle 8 man movement trays so they end up being square via that mechanism. I don’t mind round bases for loose formation games but it just brings in too much ambiguity for rank and flank or massed battle I feel. Yes can see the Locust II C comparison too. 10 points
@limburger oh cool! Really liked the look of that Batman KS. Keen to hear how it turned out once you have it in hand. 10 points
@sundancer solid start! Have you had a chance to prime yet? 20 points
@mage I’m with @robert – we need to hear about the concert 😉 More shiny conquest goodness. It’s just getting local distribution here in Oz. Like the idea of slow growing a couple of forces like that but I’d realistically never use them. Still, appreciate the approach they are taking. 20 points.
