@sundancer Hmm… my willingness to go broke for large amounts of troops says no. If I were more crazy to spend cash I’d drop it on Orks or Tyranids to get a basic army up and running. I’d also like something I can look at that resembles something more than running an olive drab rattle can over my models. What little I’ve come to learn about 40k has shown me this.

@mage Tenacity with working out the painting. Continued progress is good to see. Were you switching to using inks on the turquoise areas and the purple purity seals?

As far as the Dreadnought Scythes it is definitely gifting. I figured that the color scheme is bold and might be of interest to look at. One of my brothers isn’t a gamer but I might change him into one. What really pushed me was the fact that the custom kits only work with the full price unit. $(^))&#!!!
