The story behind laughingboy is not an interesting one really, growing up I never had a nickname but when I got my first proper job I was quite nervous so used humour to get me through, one of my first bosses one day called me laughing boy and then a couple of people in the office used it… that job was nearly twenty years ago and so when I needed a name for things in the future the only claim to a nickname I have is that.

I don’t like it, turning 40 this year I am clearly a long way from a boy but what the hell it is a name like any other… maybe one day I will change it.
