Stargrunt 2 is a great ruleset and the grandfather of many modern/scifi rulesets. But It doesnt handle vehicles very well.. Hammers Slammers does handle vehicles, some might say that it is its main focus. Not sure that it would play all that well at 28mm tho’..

rant mode/re: The dreamforge “stug” kickstarter. It failed again, and its always going to fail. What ruleset will you use with it?? None , that’s what ruleset. The 28mm sci-fi market is fuxed right now. WH40K dominates and there is no sign of it letting up. All these silly 28mm sci-fi kickstarters that fail everyweek should really do more homework. The market needs a product that is to sci-fi what Warlords of Erehwon and SAGA Age of Magic is to fantasy. Just make a solid ruleset (doesn’t even have to be all that good… Im looking at you Erehwon), that allows people to play with whatever miniatures they have and with a physical book people can buy at the normal outlets. Quit trying to sell miniatures… we have closets full of them already. rant mode off/
