@shredhead the game being run in question was Tales from the Flood, a game about playing teenagers fighting monsters and weird stuff. The game had been advertised as 18+, but there was no other warning about content. For the GM to then out of nowhere to run a game scene where all the characters were gang raped was vile. This was a GM running a game for people who he had never met.

Games rely on consent, and being open about boundaries, and giving people the chance to opt out of a game/a GM to recalibrate the game given the tastes and concerns of the players. Running such a scene with no warning is awful, especially if one of the players is a rape survivor.

It was egregious, bad taste, and the person was appropriately dealt with.
