I hear the word… I am being summoned… COFFEE.

Good morning lads and … well no lasses in this thread unless I’m totally not seeing it. (Which is totally an option with me)

@warzan your tank need to shave! 😉

But since it’s early AF let me play you music of my people:

1. Mostly it’s not good or even bad. Mixing genres doesn’t really tickle me. I like on genre over another for a reason

Can you expand on the answer and site why? Conversation, points and all that ?

Constructed Bad Example: Let’s image I would play W40K. A grim dark universe wif lotz o’ DAKKA. Me like very much! What I don’t really care for is something like Power Puff Girls. Adding Power Puff Girls to 40k would (for me) dilute the fun. It would lessen the effect. And I’m not talking about using obscure miniatures as proxies or stand in or as “counts as” but as to a real rules integration. If I  buy a cup of coffee I don’t want anyone to put vanilla or other flavours in it!

2. As long as the miniature is only a different sculpt (Just cosmetic) it’s fine. But when they get special rules it’s bad (pay to win)

You prefer them being alternatives but still same normal old rules? Are there any companies that do this well?

The only one I could say for sure was the Darth Vader from SW:L just now. I don’t know if most of the “GW exclusives” that pop up on store openings and conventions get any special rules. Most miniatures I see at cons aren’t play pieces at all but only fun minis to be painted and displayed.

Never play coop even no? Not your thing?

It’s mostly down to time constraints. To play coop you need more than just one additional player and finding time where all potential players can come together is… frustrating. It take so much time and efford and I don’t have much time at all. So I’m staying with “all on all” games 😉

Pledge?

I’m pledging to do my quarterly tax report. *sigh*
