@avien I often have a similar problem, during term time when I’m teaching (including Saturday mornings) I don’t find the time to sit down and paint, let alone get out to my gaming club which meets on a Friday night.  The holidays come round and I think I will have time, but other things fill it up or I find something else to do rather than paint figures – I wish I had a hobby space part of my problem is having to reach everything out and then put it away when I’m finished.  When the Spring Cleaning Challenge was on I did get on with some hobby, but as the term got busier towards the end of the academic year I didn’t have time and I haven’t picked up a brush since.

The desire to hobby will come back, but I would stop worrying about how much you have to do, and focus on one small project to start with.
