I’d like to see Epic return, but given the prices for Adeptus Titanicus I doubt we’d see the GREAT value “army” boxes that allowed us to build up the forces (I’d expect to see a lot of nickle and diming and lots of CARDS (cus GW seem to have an obsession for adding cards to all of their games….Hey when you can charge for both the rules and the cards to play?).
It was the “value” in Epic that was a great draw to the game. Boxes of a single sprue with all the infantry and APCs you could ever need (thus allowing you to spend the big bucks on the metals for the really special stuff). Plus the big box had a ton of stuff and two whole armies from the get go. I doubt GW would relaunch (as people will not pay massive amounts for 6mm/10mm figures like they would for 28mm). But it’s a game a remember fondly, but was a product of it’s time and “if” GW were to do anything with it then it would be a “specialist/limited” release again commanding a premium price for the diehard collectors (rather than trying to relaunch the game as an ongoing product line and building up a massive player base)
