It’s obviously not meant for masses of miniatures (yet), but unless you are handy with green stuff and paint brush your chances of creating a custom mini for your hero character are pretty slim.

I don’t see any mention of size …

It’s similar to the shapeways coloured figures that were posted earlier and they do look really good.

I suspect that depending on the colours chosen during the design stage the Hero Forge minis might surprise.
If they’re smart they pick preset colours that give the best print results.

However even without the 3D printing the potential for testing paint schemes on a virtual version is a nice bonus.
