There’s going to be a time as things progress where even with a few gadgets you’ll not be able to manage. This is where family/friends come to the fore. If they can prep the miniatures for you, you can still paint.

It’s also up to “able” bodied individuals to help out with fellow gamers who might have difficulties, Just look around you and see if there’s anyone who might need a bit of help.

But for me, the BIGGEST thing I would be looking at would be to move away from multipart plastics (which need a LOT of prep work) and towards metals/single piece castings. These would hopefully require less cutting and scraping of mold lines. As to shaking the paint pots, the makeup shaker is the way to go (it even does a better job than a manual shake anyway).

…and always remember when things get hard, a certain member of the Perry Twins lost a whole hand due to a misfire with a medieval cannon….yet managed to learn how to sculpt again with this non dominant left hand and a jury rigged “hand” designed by his brother. So if he could overcome that, we can overcome our own afflictions.
